Self-paced online and in person on ten Sundays ยท Jan 24 โ Apr 25, 2027Learn to teach from the inside out.
The 2027 Inward YTTOne Hatha foundation. Four ways to teach. Every style taught through a somatic, nervous-system-informed lens, so you learn to teach the student in front of you.
โ A somatic lensBuild confidence in your own felt experience, and guide students into theirs instead of toward one correct shape.
โ Nervous-system informed How the nervous system works and how yoga supports it, with trauma-informed language and choice throughout.
โ Bodies are differentA functional approach to anatomy, so you learn what each pose is for and offer variations that make the practice accessible.
โ A portfolio, not a testThere's no final exam. You build a teaching portfolio through the program, with professional photos on graduation day.
Anna created the Inward YTT and held its first training at Coconut Yoga Chicago in 2025. Three of its graduates now teach at Coconut. In 2027, the training returns to the same room, co-led by Anna and Kathryn Norris.

Hatha is the root. You'll learn its postures, breath, alignment and Sanskrit first, then how that foundation becomes a flowing Vinyasa class, a long-held Yin class or a fully supported Restorative one.
